About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation. As a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing functional rehabilitation to children in our outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities
  • Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans to address communication and swallowing disorders in children.
  • Regularly reassess the effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing meetings and family conferences to ensure collaborative care.
  • Perform discharge evaluations and provide recommendations for home and community safety, as well as referral and education resources.
  • Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family members.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
  • Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice.
  • Current CPR Certification in accordance with state regulations.
  • Minimum of one year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury preferred.
  • Effective communication and professional interaction skills.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical demands of the job.
