We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our Adult Outpatient Behavioral Health clinic in Nashua, NH. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with colleagues, and contribute to the development of our clinical programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care through psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and follow-up visits.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff, medical support staff, and other disciplines to ensure timely and appropriate patient care.
  • Participate in weekly team meetings, relevant CAFS meetings, and Medical Staff meetings.
  • Complete all documentation within 3 business days.
  • Promote the quality of patient care through participation in supervision and maintenance of nursing/medical/psychiatric education.
  • Manage daily requests for medication refills through Essentia Rx.
  • Returns all phone calls to patients, family, and/or team members within 48 hours.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Nursing.
  • APRN Licensed in New Hampshire and DEA Certificate.
  • 1 to 2 years or related work experience.
  • Knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses, medications, and treatments prescribed to clients.
  • Knowledge of relevant nursing principles and procedures.
  • Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Email, Word, EXCEL).
  • Strong collaborating skills, and an ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines; high energy, self-motivated and proactive.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and be flexible with regard to workload and assignments.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and sound decision-making.
