We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN ICU Team Lead to join our team at LaFollette Medical Center. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for promoting a positive work environment, ensuring high staff morale, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the ICU nursing team to ensure high-quality patient care and excellent patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to promote best practices and improve patient care.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Conduct regular nursing staff meetings to promote communication, information sharing, and team building.
- Ensure that all registered nurses are aware of and adhere to professional and company standards for documentation and health assessments.
- Manage the orientation and induction of new staff, ensuring they receive necessary training and support.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve staff engagement, retention, and job satisfaction.
- Monitor and report on quality metrics and patient satisfaction scores.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in an ICU setting.
- Current CPR and/or Advanced Life Support certification.
