Position Overview:

Join our dedicated team at Nuvance Health as a Rehabilitation Specialist. This full-time role is based in the inpatient therapy department, offering a unique opportunity to engage with both acute rehabilitation and medical/surgical units.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Rehabilitation Specialist, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations and developing tailored treatment plans.
  • Administering physical therapy interventions as directed by a licensed physician.
  • Facilitating recovery and enhancing functionality for patients recovering from injuries, illnesses, or physical limitations.
  • Empowering patients to achieve their highest potential while adapting to their individual capabilities.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A degree from an accredited physical therapy program (B.S., M.S., or PhD).
  • A valid NYS PT license or a limited permit.

Work Schedule:
This position requires a commitment to a Monday through Friday schedule, with shifts lasting 7.5 hours between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM.

Compensation:
The hourly wage for this role is $65.01.
