Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team at Ditch Witch West. As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing heavy trenching and construction equipment in our shop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair heavy trenching and construction equipment, including directional drills, trenching equipment, vacuum excavators, and heavy-duty trucks.
  • Work in a fast-paced shop environment, ensuring equipment repairs are done accurately and timely to support our customers and maximize their uptime.
  • Collaborate with other technicians to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest equipment technologies and repair techniques through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
  • 2 or more years of experience diagnosing and repairing construction or other heavy equipment, including trucks, excavators, directional drills, and trenching equipment.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Must provide own tools.
