Fair Oaks Lodge is a skilled nursing facility within the Eden Senior Care network, providing exceptional care to our guests. We are seeking weekend warriors who can commit to working doubles on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays.

The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team that prioritizes quality care and guest satisfaction. As a Certified Nursing Assistant-CNA Weekend Warrior, you will be responsible for delivering individualized attention and promoting each guest's well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care to guests, including ADLs (activities of daily living) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
  • Attend to individual needs, including incontinent care, transferring, ambulation, range of motion, communication, and other requirements.
  • Maintain skin integrity by changing incontinent guests, turning, repositioning immobile guests, and applying moisturizers to fragile skin areas.
  • Perform various tasks assigned by the floor nurse, including vital sign checks, weighing guests, applying creams/ointments, and collecting specimens.
  • Support the care planning process by providing supervisors with specific information and observations about guest needs, preferences, and behavioral changes.

Requirements:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to infection control protocols
