Job Summary

Maintain a high standard of overall store appearance by ensuring cleanliness and recovery standards are met. Deliver exceptional customer service, assisting customers in finding products and providing a positive shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and dispose of trash according to approved procedures.
  • Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
  • Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and placement.
  • Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment.
  • Deep clean key areas, including bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and high-traffic areas, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly, notify supervisor of supply needs in advance.
  • Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete tasks.
  • Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines.
  • Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
  • Project a positive image and serve as a role model for other team members.
Additional Duties
  • Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience, execute cash handling to standards.
  • Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, complete enrollments.
  • Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
  • Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
  • Support shrink and safety programs.
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
Preferred Qualifications

Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.

Work Environment

Ability to remain standing for long periods, move throughout the store, regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching. Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment. Public retail store setting, climate-controlled environment, some stock rooms may not be climate-controlled, some outdoor work if assigned to retrieve shopping carts or while unloading trucks.

Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.
