Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at Shaker for ChristianaCare Direct. As a key member of our Clinical Express Admissions Department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth transition from emergency to inpatient services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical/surgical nursing care to patients in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to anticipate patient needs and develop effective care plans
  • Practice autonomously, utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex patient situations
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and departmental efficiency

Requirements:

  • BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years from date of hire
  • Registered Nurse with 2 years of experience in acute care
  • BLS required, ACLS preferred (must be willing to obtain after hire)
