Overview:

Parts Authority is a leading national distributor of automotive replacement parts, tools/equipment, and transmissions. We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Delivery Driver to join our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Load, transport, and deliver automotive parts to customers or businesses in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Review orders before and after delivery to ensure accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Take and follow directions from dispatchers, adhere to assigned routes, and use route navigation apps to deliver packages on time.
  • Assist with loading and unloading items from vehicles without interfering with operations at customers' places of business.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and professionally handle complaints and concerns from customers.
  • Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
  • Accept payments, prepare reports, and reconcile customer credit and debt balances.
  • Perform daily maintenance checks on company delivery vehicles and notify managers of any issues.
Qualifications:
  • Current, valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to meet company insurance requirements (drivers must be 21 years old or over).
  • Current valid automobile insurance with the driver's name on the policy.
  • Ability to lift, move, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, with prolonged sitting.
