Job Summary

This position is responsible for leading a roustabout crew in the performance of various oilfield services, including new well construction, maintenance, and other roustabout work. The roustabout crew pusher will provide hands-on guidance to roustabout laborers and ensure efficient operation of all jobs by managing their crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise activities of roustabout laborers to ensure employee skill development and safety
  • Set pumping units, batteries, and treaters, maintenance work on wells, pumping units, and treaters
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment, ensuring that it is functioning and operating properly
  • Capable and resourceful in lining up equipment for consecutive jobs requested by the customer
  • Ensuring quality products and services are provided to the customer
  • Knowledge of equipment and tools commonly used in the oil and gas industry
  • Basic math knowledge used in common calculations
  • Must be professional and motivated to complete all tasks assigned
  • Possess the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must possess the ability to safely operate all vehicles and equipment involved in roustabout work
  • Must have working knowledge and the ability to use computers and software such as Microsoft Office, email, timekeeping programs, invoicing, etc.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 years supervisory roustabout pusher experience
  • Must have a clean driving record and valid driver's license
  • Basic understanding of Construction/Roustabout tools and procedures
