Pet Groomer

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pet Groomer to join our team at PetSuites. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and attention to our furry friends, ensuring they receive a safe and enjoyable grooming experience.

• Provide a positive and gentle experience for pets during grooming, including compassion, reassurance, and safety.
• Ensure all pets are groomed or bathed to the parent's specifications, meeting their needs and expectations.
• Work with Resort Hosts to schedule grooming appointments, including setting up new clients in online software and discussing vaccination protocol.
• Meet and greet clients to discuss grooming instructions, provide report cards, and suggest added services.
• Return phone calls and emails in a timely manner, growing your business by rescheduling appointments.
• Ensure client satisfaction by resolving any customer service issues within your capabilities.
• Maintain a sanitary and healthy environment by following resort standards of cleaning and disinfecting your workspace.
• Monitor guest health while grooming or bathing, reporting any unusual concerns to the general manager and pet parent.
• Follow all safety standards when handling guests, particularly aggressive guests and escape artists.

• Two to four years of professional grooming experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of individual breed standards and breed cuts.
• Use of proper scissoring techniques.
