Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist to join our team at Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY). As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Determine and prescribe anesthetics and procedures for various cases, including light pediatrics, obstetrics, neurology, orthopedics, and plastics.
  • Advise Anesthetists and Surgeons on complex patient cases, providing guidance on anesthesia selection, dosages, and post-operative complications.
  • Review case histories and oversee all matters related to Anesthesiology.
  • Lecture and train Anesthetists, Residents, and auxiliary staff on Anesthesiology best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with CRNAs, medical students, and residents to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
  • License to practice Medicine in the State of New York.
  • Experience in block placement in upper and lower extremities preferred but not required.
  • Board eligible or certified in Anesthesiology.
Benefits
  • Annual Base Salary: $390,000* (board eligible) ; $400,000* (board certified)
  • Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
  • Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000
  • Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): 3% company contribution of base earnings immediately vested, with an additional 7% company contribution after one year of service.
