We are currently seeking an experienced OR Nursing Manager for our Research Medical Center team in Kansas City.
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $160,000 per year
Job Description:
This leadership role involves providing nursing direction for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in assigned areas. You will collaborate with physicians and other departments to coordinate patient needs and manage resources efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing guidance and direction to nursing staff under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and safety standards.
- Managing budgets and resources to ensure fiscally responsible operations.
- Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and quality improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- A current RN license from the Missouri Division of Professional Registration or an active compact license.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications.
- A minimum of three years of surgical experience.
