Job Summary
Piedmont HealthCare is seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients in our primary care setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider to deliver patient-centered care that meets the highest standards of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with Piedmont HealthCare's Mission and Vision Statements.
- Function within the framework of your license and the policy and procedures of the organization, demonstrating professional growth and accountability.
- Guide ancillary staff and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide quality nursing care.
- Blend compassion, caring, and technologically appropriate competency to deliver holistic care to patients.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an LPN program.
- New graduates of an accredited nursing school are eligible.
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a LPN or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification required.
- Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area applying for, with Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting.
- ALS/ACLS and PALS certification required for Emergency Department nurses.
