North Oaks Medical Center is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Physical Therapist to assist in managing daily operations of the department. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong passion for providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:- Evaluate referred patients, gathering data from various sources, and develop a plan of treatment.
- Prepare written documentation, such as evaluation results, treatment care plans, and progress reports.
- Communicate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure efficient coordination of patient care.
- Supervise subordinate staff and student activities, assign patients, and transmit orders to support staff members.
- Provide clinical supervision of patient treatments, family and inter-team communication, and record keeping.
- Act as liaison with nursing, medical staff, and other hospital personnel to facilitate problem-solving and coordination of services.
- Identify needs in program planning and facilitate program development.
- Comply with department policies, procedures, objectives, safety, environment, infection control, and quality assurance programs.
- Participate in educational programs, in-service meetings, and attend other meetings as required.
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy.
- LA state license required. Temporary License accepted while therapist is in licensure process.
The Physical Therapist will work in a fast-paced hospital environment, interacting with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and have excellent communication skills.
