Position Overview:
- The Triage Registered Nurse will deliver expert nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols and within their professional scope.
- This role acts as the primary communication link between patients, healthcare providers, and clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming patient calls and provide triage services.
- Communicate test results and coordinate follow-up care for patients.
- Assist with the prior authorization process as necessary.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for clinical staff regarding medical information and patient evaluations.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse degree from an accredited nursing program is required.
- Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical environment.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), particularly Epic, is preferred.
- Exceptional customer service and patient care skills are essential.
