Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Operations: Maintain cleaning calendars, perform daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks, and ensure the house is always clean and comfortable for our guests.
  • Guest Services and Support: Engage with our guests, provide emotional support and physical comforts, and assist with daily living needs such as toiletries, breast pumps, linens, food, and baby supplies.
  • Volunteer Supervision: Supervise and counsel volunteers during their shifts, ensuring they have a positive experience and are utilizing their skills to assist with house operations.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Relevant housekeeping experience required.
  • Skills: Demonstrated ability to problem solve and multitask, customer service oriented, strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Language Skills: Spanish proficiency/Bilingual ability desired.
  • Supply Management: Proven knowledge of supplies, equipment, and/or service ordering and inventory control.
  • Cultural Competence: Understanding and sensitivity apropos to the intersections of ability, class, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, race, religion/spirituality, and sexual orientation.
Working Conditions

This position involves standing, sitting, walking, squatting, carrying, lifting, climbing, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, cleaning, writing, hearing, seeing, and speaking. The ability to push up to 50 pounds and lift up to 40 pounds is required.

The successful candidate will be required to meet our pre-employment background screening requirements.
