Job Summary:

The University of Texas Medical Branch seeks a highly skilled and experienced Transplant Surgeon to join our esteemed Department of Surgery. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care, advance clinical knowledge through research, and contribute to the teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including surgery, consultative services, and care of hospitalized patients.
• Participate in teaching activities, including conferences, lectures, bedside teaching, and rounds.
• Supervise and evaluate residents, provide medical direction, and participate in committee memberships at the departmental and health system level.
• Advance clinical knowledge through scholarly and research efforts, including publication of scientific articles.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an approved medical school.
• Completion of an approved residency training program in Transplant Surgery.
• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Transplant Surgery.
• Texas Medical license without restrictions.
