Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist II to join our team at Sutter Health. As a Diagnostic Mammography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing routine and specialized breast procedures to produce high-quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Competently perform routine and specialized breast procedures to produce quality images
  • Work independently, exercising sound judgment and developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures
  • Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care
  • Mentor and foster a constructive environment that helps students and new technologists build confidence in their skills, knowledge, and abilities
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program
  • CRT-Certified Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire
  • RHM-Radiology Mammography Upon Hire
  • BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Upon Hire
  • 2 years recent relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • General knowledge of diagnostic mammography principles, procedures, views, and equipment
  • Ability to perform routine mammographic examinations and basic understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain sensitive information clearly and professionally to diverse audiences
