We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Elevance Health. As a Registered Nurse - Infusion, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest level of quality and safety in our infusion centers.
Key Responsibilities- Administer ordered therapies according to prescriber order, facility protocols, and company policy and procedures.
- Perform physical assessments on each patient as warranted and for new consults as warranted by the patient diagnosis.
- Document all pertinent data in the patient's medical record.
- Report all significant changes or observations to the Center Director and be responsible for the follow-up on any problem identified.
- Evaluate the patient's response to therapy and document this finding in the medical record.
- Ensure that all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate, and up-to-date prior to treatment.
- Requires an ASN or ADN and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
- Requires a current unrestricted RN license in the applicable state required.
- Multi-state licensure is required if this individual is providing services in multiple states.
- Minimum of 1 year IV experience preferred.
- BSN preferred.
