Pharmaceutical Content Specialist

About the Role

Cella Careers is seeking a skilled Pharmaceutical Editor to join our team on a freelance basis. This open-ended position offers east coast working hours and the opportunity to work with a top name in pharmaceuticals.

Responsibilities:

• Copy edit promotional materials for grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
• Evaluate content against AMA style, brand guidelines, and FDA rules and regulations.
• Verify references to ensure they are current and meet reference criteria.
• Prepare jobs for MLR submission using Veeva Vault PromoMats.
• Collaborate with project manager, account manager, designer, copywriter, and other copyeditors as needed.
• Manage own brand alignment and assist other editors as needed.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., English, journalism, life sciences).
• Minimum 5+ years' experience editing pharmaceutical promotional materials, preferably within an agency environment.
• Minimum 5+ years' experience referencing and fact checking.
• Experience anchoring/linking in Veeva Vault PromoMats.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working across a range of therapeutic areas and product launches is a plus.

Estimated Salary Range: $38 - 45 per hour based on location in Kenilworth, New Jersey, and industry standards.
