Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare Operating Room: Set up and maintain a safe and efficient Operating Room environment, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in good working order.
  • Assist with Surgical Procedures: Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless execution of surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to strict protocols.
  • Communicate Effectively: Maintain open and clear communication with the surgical team, ensuring accurate and timely information exchange regarding patient care and surgical procedures.
  • Maintain Patient Safety: Prioritize patient safety and well-being, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines to prevent complications and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Work closely with nurses, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduate of a technical program for operating room technicians.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) - American Heart Association (AHA), Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA), or Tech in Surgery - Certified - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
  • Work Environment: Operating Room, Surgery Department.
  • Work Schedule: Day Shift (United States of America).
