About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at Valmont Industries, Inc. As a Maintenance Technician, you will assist with basic maintenance functions under the supervision of the Maintenance Lead and Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections and repairs of industrial equipment
  • Assist with the completion of PMs and general maintenance repairs and projects
  • Participate in LEAN Manufacturing activities, including cleaning, painting, and demarcation of walls and floors
  • Support safety throughout the plant by reporting and repairing abnormal conditions and safety hazards

Requirements:

  • Relevant industry experience
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English in order to complete necessary paperwork requirements
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal/written instructions
  • Basic experience maintaining industrial equipment and pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical equipment
  • Basic experience using industrial lifting equipment, cranes, forklifts, and hoists
