Job Summary
As an Emergency Medicine Physician with HCA San Antonio Division, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages, from minor injuries to life-threatening conditions
- Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research, technologies, and best practices in emergency medicine
Requirements
- Board certification or board eligibility in emergency medicine
- Texas medical license or eligibility for licensure
- 12-hour shifts, 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. days and 6:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m. nights
- 24-hour physician coverage with APP coverage 6 hours per day, 6 days per week
- Level 4 Trauma designation
- 11 ED beds
- ED Volume: 14,900
- EMR: Meditech
