Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our school team at Soliant. This role involves providing occupational therapy services, conducting assessments, and developing individualized education programs (IEPs) for students. Experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to identify students' functional and educational needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEPs to support students' progress and achievement.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to promote students' functional and educational skills.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided to ensure compliance and quality assurance.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to setting educational goals for students to ensure their success.

Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as an OT.
  • Prior experience in a school setting is highly desirable, but new graduates are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills to ensure effective collaboration and student outcomes.
