Stormwater Project Manager
Freese and Nichols is on the lookout for a dedicated Stormwater Project Manager with a robust technical foundation to spearhead stormwater management initiatives. This pivotal role is centered around the Stormwater division, where you will be instrumental in overseeing a variety of stormwater projects, ensuring they adhere to quality benchmarks, fulfill client requirements, and are delivered punctually and within budget constraints.
- Direct technical evaluations and compile reports for an array of projects, including drainage systems, pumping facilities, and transportation drainage solutions.
- Develop construction documentation, manage project timelines, create designs, specifications, and financial estimates.
- Engage in regional flood planning and assess FEMA flood analyses.
- Lead teams of professionals, offer guidance, and maintain effective communication.
- Collaborate with project teams and act as a technical authority.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and client relationships.
- Guarantee internal quality assurance within the Stormwater division.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in stormwater management and design.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Possession of an Oklahoma Professional Engineer license or the ability to secure one within a specified timeframe.
- Expertise in software tools such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office.
- Familiarity with local experience and client connections in Oklahoma is advantageous.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with advanced hydrology and hydraulics modeling software and floodplain management.
- CFM Certification and understanding of FEMA RiskMap Program.
- Knowledge of FEMA funding initiatives.
