Global Admissions Consultant

Position Overview

The University of Central Missouri is seeking a dedicated Global Admissions Consultant to join our International Student Services team. This full-time role is essential in managing the admissions process for international and domestic students across various programs.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the admissions process for diverse student categories, including international students, master's candidates, and those in the Intensive English Program. This includes managing student records in systems such as Slate CRM and Banner, as well as reviewing essential documents like transcripts and financial statements.
2. Provide guidance and support to prospective students regarding university offerings, enrollment procedures, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities.
3. Actively recruit both domestic and international students for various academic programs.

Qualifications:
1. A bachelor’s degree in business, international relations, education, or a related field is required.
2. Experience in admissions, international affairs, or customer service is preferred.

Skills and Competencies:
1. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
2. Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
3. Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets, as well as familiarity with Banner and Slate CRM.

Work Environment:
This position may require occasional evening and weekend hours, as well as travel for recruitment purposes. The role demands a professional appearance and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
