Aerotek is seeking a Plasma Cutting Machine Operator
Position Overview
We are looking for a proficient Plasma Cutting Machine Operator to contribute to our operations. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC plasma cutting machines to fabricate metal components according to technical drawings. The ability to read and interpret schematics is essential, as well as troubleshooting any issues that may arise during the cutting process.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CNC plasma cutters effectively.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve machine-related issues.
- Adjust machine settings as required for optimal performance.
Essential Skills
- Experience with plasma cutting technology.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery.
- Forklift operation experience.
Work Environment
The position is based in a metal fabrication shop that is not temperature-controlled.
Shift Details
Second Shift: 4:00 PM to 12:30 AM
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $23
