Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional evaluations and ongoing monitoring of patients.
- Educate patients and caregivers on nutritional support methods.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless communication and care.
- Assist in navigating reimbursement processes related to nutritional services.
- Foster professional relationships with fellow dietitians and healthcare providers.
- Support marketing initiatives related to nutrition therapy.
- Maintain professional development and adhere to continuing education requirements.
- Identify and address any issues that may arise in patient care.
- Work closely with pharmacy and enteral departments to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications:
- Active registration with the American Dietetic Association.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential is mandatory.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience is required.
- Experience in home health settings is preferred.
- Strong clinical and analytical skills are essential.
- Thorough understanding of reimbursement policies is necessary.
- Proficiency in software applications, including Office 365 and electronic medical records.
- Exceptional communication and organizational abilities.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are vital.
- Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5 PM.
