Maintenance Mechanic Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Adecco US, Inc. in North Branch, NJ.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial equipment to ensure optimal plant output, efficiency, quality, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot equipment problems and make necessary changes to maintain and improve plant equipment.
  • Utilize process improvement techniques, tools, and procedures to maximize performance and efficiency.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals to perform maintenance and repairs.
  • Assist with efficient equipment changes and mold changes to accommodate production needs.
  • Implement a preventative maintenance program to maintain and prevent equipment failure.
  • Monitor process, raw materials, and finished products to ensure quality production.
  • Preserve plant equipment through proper cleaning and maintenance.
  • Record, document, and report various data as required.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Good manual dexterity and concentration.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, reach, bend, stoop, walk, and stand consistently for long periods.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work in small/confined spaces.
  • Basic PLC knowledge is a plus, but not required.
  • Basic ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Sound problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience
  • Level 1: 1-3 years of related experience.
  • Level 2: 4-6 years of related experience.
  • Level 3: 7-10 years of related experience.
  • Level 4: 11+ years of related experience.

Pay Details: $52,000.00 to $72,800.00 per year.
