About the Position- **Device Work Available**: Our Medical Center offers the opportunity to perform device work, although it is not a requirement for the position.
- **Call Schedule**: The cardiologist will be on a 1 in 3 call schedule, ensuring a manageable workload and adequate time for patient care.
- **Collaborative Team**: You will work closely with Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRNs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) to provide comprehensive patient care.
- **Outreach Clinics**: As a General Cardiologist, you will be responsible for conducting outreach clinics to serve the community.
- **Diagnostic Procedures**: You will perform a range of diagnostic procedures, including echocardiograms, electrocardiograms, cardiolites, and nuclear stress tests.

Our Medical Center is a nonprofit, fully accredited, 116-bed regional referral center serving west Nebraska, northern Kansas, and northern Colorado. We have a strong presence in the region, with a service area spanning 34 counties, 136,000 lives, and approximately 67,832 square miles.
We offer advanced medical services, including heart and vascular care, cancer treatment, orthopedic services, women's health, and a level III trauma center. Our team of nearly 100 physicians represents 30 medical specialties, and we employ approximately 1,100 employees and have over 200 volunteers.
Facilities and Services- **Heart Institute**: We are proud to offer western Nebraska's only Heart Institute, providing comprehensive cardiovascular care.
- **Wound Healing Center**: Our Wound Healing Center offers advanced treatment options for patients with chronic wounds.
- **Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit**: We provide specialized care for newborns in our Level 2 NICU.
We serve the region through 13 Physician Network and hospital-based clinics, with providers who perform outreach in 26 critical access hospitals in Nebraska and Kansas. We partner with 250 academic institutions to provide rural internships for medical, nursing, and allied health students in various specialties.
