**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Rural Carrier Associate. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing excellent service to our customers and ensuring timely delivery of mail along a rural route.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver mail and packages to customers along a rural route;
  • Provide customers with a variety of services, including postage and package handling;
  • Sort mail in delivery sequence for the assigned route;
  • Handle accountable mail, including receiving and signing for it;
  • Load and unload mail from vehicles;
  • Collect monies and receipts for accountable mail;
  • Pick up mail from roadside boxes and return it to the post office;
  • Maintain accurate records of mail delivery and customer interactions;
  • Prepare mail for forwarding and update records of change of address information;
  • Prepare a daily trip report and keep track of customers on the route;
  • Conduct special surveys when required;

**Salary and Benefits:** The estimated salary for this position is around $62,000 - $78,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
