Role Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and visitors, ensuring a warm and secure environment.
  • Verify identification for all individuals entering the facility.
  • Guide patients and visitors to their destinations within the medical center.
  • Manage visitor information and issue identification badges.
  • Restrict access to individuals based on security protocols.
  • Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas, ensuring safety and security.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and security incidents.
  • Provide escort services as needed for safety.
  • Assist in the documentation and reporting of security-related incidents.
  • Participate in investigations of suspicious activities.
  • Attend legal proceedings when necessary to provide testimony.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in public safety or security.
  • Completion of required training and certifications within the first 180 days of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in criminal justice or a related field.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license.
