Key Responsibilities
  • Provide top-notch customer service to internal and external customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Utilize smartphone-based technology to manage rentals and inventory, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Operate and maintain U-Haul equipment, including trucks and trailers, to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Assist customers with equipment inspections, maintenance, and repairs, providing education and support as needed.
  • Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Install hitches and trailer wiring, and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education through U-Haul University, staying up-to-date on company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with moderate risks and discomforts. Employees may be required to wear protective gear and work in a variety of settings, including indoors and outdoors.

Physical Demands

The work requires physical exertion, including long periods of standing, moving around, and lifting equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
