Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Loves Travel Stops & Country Stores. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and performing various sales and customer service duties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Provide fast, friendly, and accurate services for customers
    • Address customer needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Sales and Merchandising
    • Process customer transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
    • Offer additional sales opportunities to customers and promote products and services
  • Store Maintenance
    • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, restrooms, and gas/diesel pumps
    • Perform trash runs and maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals
    • Communicate effectively with customers and team members to resolve issues and provide excellent customer service

Requirements

  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • No prior experience necessary, as we provide on-the-job training
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a clean and organized store environment
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in various temperatures
