WHAT TO EXPECT IN THIS ROLE?

As a Senior Tax Consultant, your responsibilities will include preparing federal and state income tax returns for individuals and small enterprises, meticulously reviewing Forms 1040, 1120-S, 1065, and 1041. You will conduct thorough research on various tax matters and remain informed about updates in tax legislation, ensuring precise tax reporting through financial data analysis. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SENIOR TAX CONSULTANT

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a minimum of 5 years of experience in preparing business and personal tax returns in a public accounting environment
  • At least 3 years of experience in public accounting and taxation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively
  • CPA or EA certification (preferred)
  • Experience with UltraTax and QuickBooks Online (preferred)
