Job Title: Nephrology Nurse

Job Summary:

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nephrology Nurse to join our team. As a Nephrology Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to individuals with kidney disease, including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to physicians.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on kidney disease management and treatment options.

Requirements:

  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of 9 months of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in nephrology or a related field.
  • Successful completion of FKC Education and Training requirements for new employees.
  • Successful completion and maintenance of CPR BLS Certification.
