We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at SSM Health. Responsibilities
  • Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans in accordance with physician orders and department policies.
  • Provide respiratory care services, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and ventilator management.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on proper use and maintenance of respiratory equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in maintaining departmental inventory levels for supplies and equipment.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) certification.
  • Driver's License and Driving Record.
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification.
  • Respiratory Care Practitioner registration in the state of employment.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and requires strong communication and teamwork skills.
