About the Opportunity

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who can make a significant impact on our projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data science, including elements of machine learning, statistics, probability, and modeling. A background in programming languages such as Python, R, or Matlab is essential, as well as experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.

The successful candidate will have at least 6 years of experience in building machine learning models and will possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical topics to internal and external stakeholders. Strong working relationships with team members, cross-departmentally, customers' technical teams, and executive leadership are also crucial for success in this role.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and partner with project teams in developing and delivering customer solutions using machine learning expertise
  • Strategize modeling approaches and document and present experimental results throughout data science projects
  • Be able to justify why a Data Science modeling approach was chosen over others
  • Independently and effectively engage with external technical stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand and solve critical business problems
  • Design and deploy machine learning models for commercial and industrial applications with various data sources
  • Lead all phases of the data science process from data exploration and processing to model training and testing, and information synthesis
What You'll Have
  • A strong understanding and working knowledge of data science, including elements of machine learning, statistics, probability, and modeling
  • Advanced experience with data science programming languages, such as Python, R, Matlab, and familiarity with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch
  • Applied experience of ML techniques/algorithms, including linear models, neural networks, decision trees, Bayesian techniques, clustering, forecasting, anomaly detection, and forecasting
  • At least 6 years of experience in building machine learning models
  • Strong written and verbal communications, with the ability to translate complex technical topics to internal and external stakeholders
  • A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related scientific discipline
  • A strong work ethic, along with the ability to prioritize and complete all job responsibilities in a timely manner
