ResponsibilitiesThe Director of Surgical Services will be responsible for leading the staff in the Ambulatory Surgery, Surgery, and PACU Departments. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to interpret hospital policies and ensure that patient needs are met.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years of supervisory experience and at least two years of experience in surgical nursing. A Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred, as is current certification as a Certified Nurse OR (CNOR). The ideal candidate will be able to formulate budgets and participate in performance improvement activities.
Qualifications- Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificate
- Minimum of two years supervisory/management experience
- At least two years of experience in Surgical Nursing
- Current Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) certificate (preferred)
- Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) (preferred)
Shasta Regional Medical Center offers a competitive compensation package, including a 401K retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, and other benefits. The estimated annual compensation for this role is $94,476.60 to $155,292.80, depending on experience and qualifications.
