Sterling Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Maintenance Director to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our production facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Maintenance Programs: Create and execute comprehensive maintenance plans for all plant equipment and systems to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Lead Maintenance Teams: Manage and direct contract maintenance staff and in-house maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Energy Efficiency Initiatives: Identify and implement cost-saving measures to reduce energy consumption and improve sustainability.
- Collaborate with Partners: Work closely with third-party cold storage partners to optimize system maintenance and controls.
- Utility Management: Partner with utility providers to ensure reliable and cost-effective service.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Plant Management and Facilities roles.
- Technical Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of PLCs and controls troubleshooting.
- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle irregular hours as needed.
- Results-Oriented: Proven track record of achieving results and driving continuous improvement.
