Job Summary:
- This role involves assessing patient conditions during admission and scheduled shifts, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status promptly.
- You will perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers and ensure thorough documentation of care administration in patient records.
- The successful candidate will administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic responses, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response.
- You will provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, anticipating needs proactively, and resolving them effectively.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of Acute Care Med-Surg RN experience is required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Registered Nurse licensure and Associate degree are essential qualifications.
Benefits:
- The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $69,000 annually, depending on experience.
- Night shift differential is $4.25 per hour, and weekend differential is $3.00 per hour.
- A sign-on bonus of $20,000 may be offered, subject to case-by-case consideration.
