We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in the Surgical Inpatient unit at Community North Hospital.
About the Role:The LPN will perform direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse and collaborate with the RN on the plan of care. This includes assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and phlebotomy. The LPN may also provide indirect care, such as order transcription, documentation, and reinforcement of patient and family education.
Responsibilities:- Assist with patient care, including ADLs, medication administration, and phlebotomy
- Provide indirect care, such as order transcription, documentation, and patient education
- Collaborate with the RN on the plan of care
- Work with other team members to perform unit services as directed
- Graduate of a recognized accredited school of practical nursing, or Graduate from a non-accredited school of practical nursing with three years related professional nursing experience
- Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency
