About the Role: As a PCU Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will be instrumental in leading change and enhancing patient care. This position involves delivering high-quality, patient-focused care while coordinating all unit functions. Working closely with the management team, you will monitor and assess nursing practices to ensure compliance with established policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee admission and discharge processes to maintain efficient patient flow and high-quality care.
- Engage in continuous evaluation of patient care services in collaboration with the management team.
- Implement nursing strategies to improve staff engagement and patient outcomes.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of new nursing staff.
- Manage staff scheduling and labor resources in alignment with patient care needs.
- Ensure proper inventory management and supply control within the unit.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Previous experience in critical care nursing is essential.
