Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities related to the development, maintenance, enhancement, troubleshooting, and retirement of applications that support our client's strategic objectives.

The support provided will address both critical mission requirements and initiatives aimed at boosting morale and wellbeing.

Clearance Requirement:
Active DoD Top Secret / SCI

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement new user-facing functionalities.
  • Update and sustain existing applications to align with the command's operational needs.
  • Create reusable code and libraries for future projects.
  • Ensure the technical viability of UI/UX designs.
  • Enhance applications for optimal performance and scalability.
  • Conduct testing, validation, and secure customer approval for new or improved features.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders effectively.
  • Engage with customers/stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
  • Translate feasible solutions for stakeholders to refine requirements.
  • Integrate third-party tools to fulfill the command's operational needs.
  • Perform systems engineering, administration, development, security, and operational tasks.
  • Generate documentation, including code comments, user manuals, administrative guides, testing procedures, and results.
  • Provide training to peers on concepts and methodologies utilized.
  • Undertake additional duties as necessary.


Essential Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree along with a minimum of 4 years of experience as an application developer/administrator, focusing on analysis, design, development, implementation, testing, maintenance, quality assurance, and troubleshooting of SharePoint applications, including:
  • Proficiency in SharePoint and its capabilities as a framework.
  • Expertise in HTML/CSS/JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks such as JQuery.
  • Familiarity with basic web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3.
  • Experience in a lean/agile development environment with remote teams.
  • Knowledge of client-side applications.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization skills.
  • Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • In-depth understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
  • Proficient in code versioning tools.
  • Good grasp of browser rendering behavior and performance.
  • Experience in Front End Web or UI Design.
  • Security + CE or equivalent/higher 8570 certification.
  • 40 hours of documented 'system administrative' training.
  • Experience with cloud technologies.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow development, administration, and branding.
