Tablet Press Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled Tablet Press Operator to join our team at TMC Acquisition LLC. As a key member of our laboratory staff, you will be responsible for operating complex non-sterile and hazardous therapies using specialized equipment.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, USP guidelines, and SOPs for preparation of formulations.
- Participate in departmental meetings and educational programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate records of refrigerator/freezer temperatures and cleaning procedures.
- Manage inventory of chemicals and lab supplies, sending weekly reports to the Lab Manager for confirmation and ordering.
- Prepare documentation and coordinate the destruction of expired products and chemicals each month.
- Calibrate and document compounding equipment daily.
- Compound specialized and complex non-sterile and hazardous therapies using proper personal protective equipment.
- Operate, clean, maintain, and troubleshoot V-blender and tablet press according to policy and procedures.
- Weigh and measure ingredients accurately using analytical balances and calibrated lab glassware.
- Support the lab assistant with completion of required paperwork relating to compounding.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
- High school diploma required.
- At least 1 year experience running a tablet press is necessary.
- Strong math skills are essential.
- Capable of working with small delicate analytical equipment.
- Capable of working with heavy machinery.
- Skill/experience in Microsoft Office: Word and Excel.
- Experience in operating standard office equipment.
This is a full-time position with a salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and 401K. Full-time employees receive 3 weeks of Paid Time Off per year plus an additional Birthday PTO day to be used in the month of their birthday. TMC Acquisition LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
