{"h2":{"text":"Job Summary"},"p":{"text":"We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at McCoy\u0027s Building Supply. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions accurately, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Responsibilities:

\u2022 Greet customers and respond to their inquiries in a friendly and professional manner

\u2022 Operate the cash register and process transactions accurately

\u2022 Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap and surrounding areas

\u2022 Assist customers with finding products and answering questions about products and services

\u2022 Process returns and exchanges according to store policy

\u2022 Assist with stocking and restocking products, and maintaining a visually appealing store display

\u2022 Attend all store meetings and training sessions

\u2022 Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

\u2022 Excellent customer service skills

\u2022 Good verbal communication skills

\u2022 Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers and scanners

\u2022 Basic mathematical skills, as needed to make change and give refunds

\u2022 Knowledgeable about the company\u0027s products and services, as well as customer-related policies

\u2022 High school diploma or equivalent preferred

\u2022 Successful completion of on-the-job training

Physical Requirements:

\u2022 Prolonged periods standing and working on the cash register or related equipment

\u2022 Ability to lift up to 30 pounds at times, and occasionally lift/move up to 80 pounds

\u2022 May need to work nights, weekends, and holidays

\u2022 Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods
