Pediatric Nephrologist

CHOC Specialists is a leading pediatric subspecialty group with a strong commitment to providing exceptional care to children. We are seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Pediatric Nephrologist to join our team of skilled healthcare professionals.

We are looking for a highly skilled Pediatric Nephrologist to provide patient-centered care to a diverse population of children with renal diseases. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to continuing medical education.

• Provide inpatient consultation services for medical/surgical services, PICU, NICU, CVICU, and oncology teams
• Provide acute inpatient dialysis
• Attend outpatient clinics, including team-centered multidisciplinary clinics, outreach clinics, and outpatient dialysis units
• Collaborate with local transplant centers for pre-transplant coordination of care
• Participate in continuing medical education activities, including pathology/nephrology conference, radiology/urology/nephrology conference, and presentations to community physicians
• Teach and mentor medical students and pediatric residents

As a Pediatric Nephrologist at CHOC Specialists, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive environment dedicated to providing exceptional pediatric care. You will work closely with a team of skilled healthcare professionals committed to improving the health and well-being of children.

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
• Board certification or eligible in pediatric nephrology
• Completion of an accredited pediatric nephrology fellowship program
• Valid medical license to practice in the state of California (or eligibility for obtaining one)
• Strong clinical acumen
• Excellent communication skills

• Dedication to continuing medical education and professional development
