Job Overview:
The selected candidate will provide essential administrative assistance within the Business Operations sector, supporting multiple leaders in Gas and Electric Distribution across various sites. The role may involve tasks related to Gas and Electric Distribution, Field Management support, or involvement in special initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll functions, including correcting system interface discrepancies and processing timesheets.
- Handle Equivalent Straight Time charging, ensuring compliance with the Union Working Agreement.
- Oversee Accounts Payable tasks, including the creation and processing of Purchase Requisitions.
- Conduct purchase card reconciliations.
- Facilitate office supply procurement and support.
- Process check requests and manage mail sorting and distribution.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
- May involve lifting and transporting items weighing between 5-35 lbs.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams, understanding their administrative requirements and needs. A commitment to adhering to established Policies, Procedures, Job Aids, and guidelines is essential for success in this role.
Qualifications:
The successful applicant will possess strong computer skills, with a willingness to learn and utilize various specialized software applications. On-the-job training will be provided for the right candidate.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of motivation.
- Strong organizational skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to acquire new skills and responsibilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP Front/Back Office.
- Familiarity with plotter and scanner operations.
