Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our team at Amotec Inc. in the Wickliffe, OH area. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to load and unload trucks, as well as moving steel and metal throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a forklift to load and unload trucks
  • Move steel and metal throughout the facility
  • Balance loads and work with odd-shaped materials
  • Band steel and rolls and prep/stage them for shipping
  • Complete bill of ladings and check in incoming shipments
  • Perform logging and general data entry
  • Assist in other areas of the facility as required
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift – prior certification a PLUS
  • Have experience balancing loads and working with odd-shaped materials
  • Previous warehouse experience, in a manufacturing setting, REQUIRED
  • Competency with basic shop math
  • Basic computer skills including familiarity with MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
